Setup Guide: Getting Started
Step 1: Install the Core
Upload
koinonia-link.zipto Plugins > Add New.Activate.
Go to Koinonia > Setup Wizard. This will create the necessary pages (Check-in, Giving, Groups).
Step 2: Install the Theme (Recommended)
Upload
koinonia-theme.zipto Appearance > Themes. (Can be downloaded free fromInstall Elementor (Free version is fine).
Go to Appearance > Customize to upload your Church Logo and Primary Color. The theme automatically adjusts all buttons/accents to match your brand.
Step 3: Upgrade to Premium
Upload
koinonia-link-premium.zip.Go to Koinonia > License and enter your key.
Enable Modules: Go to Koinonia > Settings > Premium Modules. Turn on “Guardian Mode,” “AI Automator,” and “Stripe Payments” (only enable what you use to keep the site fast).
Step 4: Configure the “Indispensable” Features
AI Setup: Go to Settings > Integrations and paste your OpenAI API Key.
Check-in Printer: If using Guardian Mode, connect your DYMO/Zebra printer instructions in Settings > Check-in.
Import Data: Use the Koinonia > Import tool to pull your CSVs from Planning Center or Breeze.
